Experience the great outdoors, sleep under the stars, and wake up to the sounds of wildlife! Whether you’re settling in to a cabin, pitching a tent or rolling in with your RV, the Chahinkapa Zoo Campground offers a peaceful, family-friendly escape just steps away from the zoo.
Reservations are on line only and must be paid at the time of booking. Walk-ins are welcome if space is available. Instructions for walk in bookings are posted at the gate.
Each tent site has electricity available. Extension cords are needed to access electrical box. Tenting sites are in the grassy area adjacent to the RV sites. 1 tent per site. Parking for these sites is available in the zoo parking lot.

Enjoy a stay in our rustic wooden cabins. Each cabin contains a table with chairs, bunkbeds, and mattresses. Electricity and air conditioning are included. Outside the cabins you have picnic tables, and fire rings with grates for cooking. Drinking water, bathrooms and showers are located near by. Please bring pillows and bedding. Your lock box code will be sent upon registration. A fine of $20 for the loss of a cabin key will be charged to your credit card on file.
